Urszula Madej-Krupitski


Urszula’s research focuses on modern European Jewish History. In particular, she’s interested in the social and cultural history of Jews in 20th century Eastern Europe, with a special emphasis on Poland.

Before joining the graduate program in the History Department at  UC Berkeley, she worked as an archival and research intern at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tel Aviv, the Vilna Gaon Jewish State Museum in Lithuania, as well as the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.
